Each of Them Echoes

Long-time friends and collaborators, Jona Rousseau and James Garside, team up for their genre-clashing electronic/ alternative crossover project, Each of Them Echoes. Armed with a techno/ retro toolkit of electronic drums and synthesisers, dusty blues guitars and baritone vocals, they collide their distinct musical backgrounds - crafting the fragments into a reflective, emotionally-charged and decidedly unique sound.

Rousseau enjoyed early recognition as the frontman of angst-ridden alt-rock band, Novena Salvo, with his three brothers. Garside’s formative inspiration came in the shape of daytime parties and warehouse raves - with a list of his own house and techno productions released under various pseudonyms. After a long, unintentional hiatus called life, both found themselves living in London and desperately searching to find a musical outlet for their challenges and internal conflicts. The result was Escape Everything - a record label and artist collective, co-founded by the duo in 2015, to champion the works of musicians, artists and creators who challenge societal expectations and set out to build a life around their own creative passions.
