Since moving out of London, it’s been a real shame to see our music producer meet-ups discontinue. So I’ve been thinking about how best to continue to offer a service and support our artist community.
In early 2024, Escape Everything will be launching ‘Escape Artists’ - a group and 1-to-1 coaching programme, and community, to help you take your music ambitions to the next level.

Whatever your ambitions, our new programme includes 1-to-1 coaching sessions with James Garside, where you’ll hone in on your unique musical goals and develop a concise action plan of how to get there. You’ll also get group coaching sessions to discuss problems and learnings with the wider team, listen in as we find solutions and hold each other accountable for our targets. Finally, in our group writing sessions, we’ll each, individually, work on music at the same time - keeping each other focused and sharing our work for feedback, as well as tips and techniques to push our productions even harder.

Your Coach
James Garside is a self-development coach, electronic music producer and multidisciplinary creative from London. Since first starting to write music in the early 2000’s, James has released hundreds of tracks across multiple genres, ran record labels and club nights around the UK. Outside of music, he worked as an art director in experiential advertising - creating events, artwork and activations for brands like adidas, Nike and Universal. In 2015 he co-founded Escape Everything Records - a platform that spotlights artists and musicians whose creative endeavours challenge societal expectations and norms. In 2021 he created Studio 404 - a Peckham-based music community and workshop series to help artists to finish, release and promote their own music. He works with 1-to-1 coaching clients to get crystal clear on their ambitions and the specific steps needed to reach them, providing support and accountability along the way.
